Meet Izzy! She’s my 3-year-old trouble causing mini me. She’s crazy just like her momma. Anywho, I decided to take her out to 31 Baskin Robins for some good ole Friday night ice scream. I got her a kids scoop of cookies n’ cream. The first thing she did the minute I handed her the cup was to give it a side-eye. No joke. She pointed at it and demanded sprinkles on top. WTF!? Kids are so bossy. She also made it a point to have a specific kind of sprinkles added to her scoop or it was a no-go. UGH! Ok, so I caved and got her whatever she wanted. Sometimes, you just have to give in and in my case, I really wanted to dig in to my own ice cream.

This is my go-to dessert. I never venture from this recipe. It took me about 2 years to get this combination just right. FYI, the night was cold but I decided either way to celebrate this Friday evening with my #1 girl.
